Pianistico is a series of four art song recitals inspired by the mission and values of four MN non-profits: Caring for Cats, CLUES, SHE Shed, and MN Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. Each program features art songs selected from Latin America, South America, and the Iberian Peninsula. Entry is free and all donations directly benefit the organizations.

Workshop Performances: March 27-29, 2026
Park Square Theater, Saint Paul, MN
Mixed Precipitation, a twin Cities theater company, will be a member of the Park Square Theatre's 2025/2026 LAB Series Cohort as they develop The Carmen Files, a bold new adaptation of Georges Bizet's 1875 French opera Carmen, where classical music and crime drama collide.
The Carmen Files will undergo further development following the success of its workshop performances at Park Square Theater. Stay tuned for more details!

We are an improvising, microtonal, spectrum-technique vocal band doing originals, some classics, and who knows what else! Past performances include its premiere in the Summer 2025 Backyard Concert Series, Tiny Tuesdays at Eagles 34, and Mortimer's Bar. Our rep includes Terry Riley's Olson III, Bernard Lefkowich's De Profundis, and two improvisations, one using a Henrich Shenker analysis of a Bach chorale, and one new composition devised by Justin Spenner.
