SATURDAY 4/15, 2023

It is said that Hip Hop and Classical Music are the most misunderstood music. That changed for Marco and See More when a chance encounter between the two started a conversation about music that would become ‘Seeds of Culture’. See More’s insights on the rhythm of Spoken Word and the groove of Hip Hop’s beat led Marco to see the overlap between the poetry and dance in centuries-old baroque music; what’s more, how re-contextualized influences of the past can inform and inspire the future.

The performance will be followed by a discussion with the artists from the stage and a reception in the Sunroom. A sampling of MaiBach beer crafted by event sponsor MetroNOME Brewery, a socially missioned brewery in Lowertown Saint Paul.
